BSR Interreg IIIB project “Rail Baltica” International Coordination group meeting in Riga, Latvia

On 4th September there is International Coordination group meeting in Riga, Latvia. Meeting was organized within BSR Interreg IIIB project “Rail Baltica” and there were participants from Germany, Lithuania and Latvia. International Coordination group meeting was organized by Ministry of Regional Development and Local Governments of the Republic of Latvia.

Till July 2006 COWI in charge of European Commission was prepared Rail Baltica pre-feasibility study interim report - study about rail main line Tallinn-Riga-Kaunas-Warsaw with connection to Berlin. During the meeting participants will present opinion of each country about Rail Baltica pre-feasibility study interim report prepared by COWI. Special attention during the evaluation of interim report was made on aspects of regional development and spatial planning.

Planned that European Commission and COWI will be informed about results of International Coordination group meeting.
